Bermagui fishing reports are uploaded whenever we have new information concerning the gamefishing off Bermagui.

Marlin fishing is primarily a summertime activity on the south coast of NSW, but with a run of monster striped marlin in late autumn to early winter it’s a six months long season.

The marlin are normally encountered around the edge of the continental shelf, which is close to Bermagui only ten miles due east.

as the marlin begin to thin out the yellowfin albacore and then bluefin tuna start to show up

The Bluefin migrate through the region in winter and can run for up to 2 months depending on the currents.

The run of Bluefin are often well to sea 25 to 30 nautical miles of the coast.
