Tuna Fishing Bermagui has a long history as one of Australia’s best tuna fishing locations. Yellowfin , Bluefin , Albacore are the three target species.

bluefin tuna charters start in June, July and August. When the migrating schools are located some fast and crazy action can take place with 35kg to 70 kg fish swimming around the boat eating everything thrown in the water.
Australia’s largest yellowfin tuna are caught at Bermagui as well as albacore. The traditional run of yellowfin is May to June as well as a spring time run in September to November the season for large yellowfin tuna is May and June as well as a spring run of albacore and school yellowfin.
